About me

I’m your typical outdoors man and nature lover that got caught up in the rat race, daily grind, chasing the American Dream or whatever you want to call it. I’m forty years old and have found myself in a position where for the last seven or eight years I feel like I haven’t been doing anything but working. While I am in a good situation living in beautiful San Diego with an awesome house and a relatively good paying job I have come to the realization that my life has become boring and entirely too comfortable.

This is not the Nomadic existence I once knew, loved and forever saw myself perusing. I am a firm believer that life should not be easy or comfortable, it should be challenging! After all as people it is the way we adapt to and overcome adversity that shapes who we are and defines our character. So I have challenged myself to step outside of the comfort zone that I have built over the last ten years. It’s time to learn a new occupation, reconnect with nature and most importantly rediscover myself.

Creating this blog and website is my first step of the journey!
