PCT- it’s a thing. It’s a thing I always thought I would do without ever giving thought to when I would. Well the time has come! After a brief run in with a minor heart issue earlier this year I came to the realization that I’m not getting any younger and if I don’t start doing all the things I’ve always wanted to do now, then I’ll never achieve my goals. Currently I have most of the gear that I will need, I’m working to save up enough money to get me through the hike and then some. I will be quitting my job the week before starting out and have no intention of returning to work in the Aviation community. I’m aiming for a May 1st start date but won’t know for certain until October when the PCTA begins issuing permits. Stay tuned for updates.
